haegr ("haegr", "we", "our" or "us") provides a mobile app that helps users create focus sessions, rules and screen-time related routines. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you use the app and related services.

Information we process

haegr is designed to keep focus and rule data on your device whenever possible. Depending on which features you use, the app may process focus session settings, schedules, rule names, selected app or website categories, device permissions, technical diagnostics and support messages you choose to send us.

If app telemetry is enabled, we may receive privacy-preserving aggregate information such as an anonymous install identifier, app version, locale, daily counts of focus sessions started or completed, total focused minutes and the number of enabled rules. We do not collect selected app names, selected websites, Screen Time usage, notification content, contacts, location, intentions or free-text rule content for analytics.

If you create an account or contact us, we may process identifiers such as your name, email address, account ID and communication history. If payments or subscriptions are introduced, payment processing will be handled by the app store or a payment provider and we will receive only the limited transaction information needed to provide the service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve haegr, synchronize or restore app functionality where enabled, respond to support requests, maintain security, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and communicate important service or policy updates.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on contract performance to provide the app, legitimate interests to secure and improve the service, consent where required for optional features or communications, and legal obligations where applicable.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that host, secure, analyze or support the service, with app store or payment providers, with authorities when legally required, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or similar corporate transaction.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law. Local app data can usually be deleted by removing app data or uninstalling the app. Account or support data can be requested for deletion by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so you should keep your device, operating system and app store account protected.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, request portability, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children

haegr is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use digital services without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

International transfers

If information is processed outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards where required by law, such as contractual protections or equivalent transfer mechanisms.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be available in the app or through our API, and material changes may be communicated through the app or other appropriate channels.
